Now in it’s fourth generation,
the family owned business, Dickman Farms, owns over
5 acres of greenhouses and over 5 acres of outdoor growing
fields, growing more than 1700 varieties of plants and
employing and average of 60 employees year round. The
Greenhouses are one of the largest propagating and rooting
stations for annuals and perennials in the northeast.
With cuttings from distant locations such as Costa Rica,
Mexico, Italy, Holland, Guatemala and Israel that once rooted,
are shipped to growers throughout the country to be
grown to retail size.
Dickman Farms Garden Center is a 26,000 square foot
retail store and a 3 acre nursery yard that specializes
in bedding plants, foliage, perennials, trees, shrubs,
and roses. In addition, it has a unique selection of
pottery, gifts, garden statuary and outdoor living furniture.
Dickman Farms is currently seeking individuals for the following positions.
Seasonal Employment Opportunities
Winter is one of the busiest times in the production cycle at Dickman Farms. In the winter we produce millions of young plants that are shipped nationwide to other growers to be finished for spring sales. We are currently seeking Seasonal Employees during the time frame of December through June.
