Felted Landscape Art Piece
Felting wool is one of the oldest forms of textile art which involves matting, condensing, and pressing woolen fibers together. Join local artist, Lorrie Butcher, as she guides you through crafting your own needle felted landscape art piece. You will learn techniques that involve moving felt fibers back and forth using the many sharp barbs on the needle, pulling the fibers in and locking them into place. By the end of the class, you will be amazed at the transformation of strands of wool to finished art piece.
