Epiphytes are plants that grab all the moisture and nutrients they need from air and rain while being anchored on another plant or support, versus being rooted in the ground. A large majority of orchids, like the Phalaenopsis Orchid, are epiphytic and found growing on trees in the wild. In this workshop we will be mounting Phalaenopsis Orchids to allow them to be suspended at home, using mosses and other materials. Enjoy letting them grow wild and look “Phabulous”!
